You are a spirit moving through the world.

In Connecticut woods during the 1960's, I followed wild birds from tree to tree. Scarlet tanagers. Indigo buntings. Blue jays. Baltimore orioles. Each one a glorious feathered mystery.

Now in my sixties, I find myself once again at play. Following a flash of color with anticipation. Letting time slip away. There is nowhere to be except here and now with the birds singing from their hiding places.

I started photographing birds in Maryland in March 2022. It is never too late to find a passion and give yourself up to it. These images are a tribute to my lifelong devotion to living creatures with feathers or fur. Thank you for visiting.
